13th, WWII Wedding at Ft Washita, the re-enacting event of the decade!
Martha Watson and Brian Caldwell request the presence of any reenactors interested in sharing the special day of our wedding at Ft Washita near Durant, OK. We invite you to bring your gear or weapon displays, vehicles and tents to set up for the public to view. We will have a public battle if we have the numbers for one.

At 4pm on Saturday we will have the ceremony and request that all reenactors be in their countries respective Class A Dress Uniform. After the ceremony we will have a reception for wedding guests once the fort has closed to the public. We will have food, drinks, music and dancing. Once it gets dark we will show a 1940s movie.

This hobby is a big part of Martha and I's life and we have met and made some great lifelong friends. So that is why we are doing this to make a memorable event even more memorable by sharing our hobby with our non-reenactor friends or family and sharing our wedding with our reenactor friends. We are inviting everyone to come and have fun and be a part of the beginning of a new chapter of our life. There is no cost but we are asking all reenactors participating to help and donate to the fort.

For more information about the event, directions, or possible lodging in the nearby towns (if you would like to bring your wife or girlfriend and they may not want to stay in the barracks or in a tent for the weekend) please email me at WorldWarTwoWedding@mail.com. Also feel free to look it up on Facebook at World War Two Wedding and mention the forum so I can add you.

Thank You, Brian Caldwell and Martha Watson
