The Park is located at 3719 Suydam Road in Earlville , Illinois 60518 which is located in DeKalb county. The site is approximately 300 acres in size and has access to approximately 1000 additional acres.
The event site will be open to reenactors at 1400 hrs on Friday February 19, 2010. Primitive camping will be available Friday night. Should the weather turn poor, period barn buildings will be available for the participants to use. The site has flush toilets and shower facilities and water but no food.
Participants will be required to preregister as groups of 15 men minimum to 20 men maximum size squads. Registration should be done under the Squad Commanders name appointed by those men to be in charge of that squad. Preregistration shall be done on the Stonehouse Park website.
www.stonehousepark.net/ Any squads of reenactors who can not meet the minimum squad size, will be formed up in ad hock squads the morning of the event or will be assigned to other preregistered squads. All squads must coordinate via e-mail with the respective allied or Axis force commanders prior to the event and report the vehicles and weapons that will be used in that squad. All squads will have a Stonehouse Park provided referee embedded with the squad whom will be in radio contact with other referees. It is the intent of the event to provide a referee for every squad and major tactical weapon system used by the squad.
All types of period vehicles will be permitted, tracked vehicles weather permitting.
Rules of engagement and additional information will be posted on the Stonehouse Park Website.
Event fee is $20.00 per person for those who preregister. Event fees will be collected by the Stonehouse Reenactor Park Personnel. On site registration will end at 0800 hrs on Saturday February 20, 2009. This time frame will be enforced.
As the Park develops the owners plans to build log cabins dinning facility and a kitchen that can feed several thousand reenactors.
