Bicentennial Celebration and Parade, Herculaneum, MO, 11 October 2008

This was a small town USA celebration with a parade, picnic, arts and crafts show, Veterans Honor, car show, pony rides, petting zoo ,concerts, The Wild Bird Sanctuary as well as all of the speeches by the State, County, and local dignitaries ,all which made for a very relaxing day.

The Army National Guard, Air National Guard and the MVPA and WW II re-enactors were in attendance.  Steve smith had his 1942 GMC Duce and the 40mm Antiaircraft gun, Steve Sears brought his Half-track, there was a Viet Nam era jeep and duce.  Re-enactors were Jeff Germer 29th ID, Pop's 14th Armor and papajoad First Special Service Force.

The weather was perfect and a good time was had by all.

"see you out there"
