6-8 October 2017, Great War Late War Reenactment, Erie, KS

Top Squadron
16650 60th Rd, Erie, Kansas 66733

The Midwest Great War Living History Association is hosting a Great War Late War re-enactment here at Squadron Field. Our private land is in southeast Kansas, north of Parsons (2 hours from Kansas City, Tulsa, Wichita, or Springfield, MO). There will be opportunities to work on the trenches and recreate tactical manoeuvres. Bring period tools for work during the event, and add to the trench construction already started. Porta-potty and water will be provided by the host. No public will be invited . Period clothing required.
Participants of any Nation's Soldiers must have a basic uniform from head to toe. Essentially anything that one would have been wearing or grabbed while exiting a bunker to repel an attack. Items such as packs, gas masks, etc. although not required, do add to the impression and realism.
Bruce Enlow will be in command of the German units.
Matthew Rubin and John Jeffries will command the Allies.
NOTE:
Complete ammo inspections will be done. No live rounds permitted on site. Have your ammo on stripper clips in a large gallon clear baggie.
Aircraft:
If arriving by trailer, please coordinate your arrival and departure times with Kenneth Steenrod so you will not have to wait for a between actions time to proceed to/from the air strip.
If flying in, and com equipped, please self announce pattern locations on 122.9 The closest ASOS is Tri City on 118.175
The NRA insurance does not cover aircraft or horses, so please make sure your own policy is in place.
