Allison Woods is hosting a Vietnam Tactical 19-21 April. Setup and check in is Friday afternoon, event is Saturday, and depart Sunday. This will be rain or shine. Possible Friday night ops. Everyone is responsible for their own chow, and water. There will be a convoy to town for chow Saturday night. Contact me for any further.

Duc Hoa '67
It’s the fall of 1967 and the American buildup has continued at a rapid pace, bringing ‘in country’ troop levels to 485,000. This increased American presence has resulted in additional firebases dotting the countryside and increased contact with the VC and NLF forces. Located outside of Cu Chi and situated along route TL 10, the village of Duc Hoa has fallen under Communist influence. The village chief has been assassinated, with the remaining elders fleeing to the surrounding countryside. Loyalty to the Saigon government has waned in the ensuing weeks.
Elements of the 1st Id, 25th ID, and 199th LIB are tasked with securing the nearby airfield for future operations as well as clearing and maintaining the surrounding roads. Mines and booby traps can be expected on these roads and trails, as well as enemy troop movement. To support these combat operations, supply convoys will be necessary. Aggressive patrolling will be key in keeping the airfield and road network open as well as denying the AO to VC and NFL forces. Duc Hoa and the Chu Chi area are the last points in the end of the Ho Chi Minh trail. Reports are that enemy movement has increased along with supplies.
