This was a fun event last year and there was a lot of effort in constructing the battlefield.  There was a good turnout by the locals.  I plan to be there with the kubel and hopefully with two or three other guys from the unit.

The 11th SS Nordland and 250 Division Azul are sponsoring the Ottawa, Kansas Veterans Day event on November 6, 2010. This is an all day event open to all time periods. The WWII Display and Public Battle will be run by HRS Safety and Authenticity rules. The Battle will be at 2:00 PM. The event will be at Forest Park Tecumsck & Locust Streets (419 N.
