Event Times: Setup can occur from Thursday to Saturday. Friday is the school education day. The event runs from 10-4pm Saturday and Sunday, with
Candlelight Tours on Saturday from 6-9pm

Description: Walk Back in Time is the premier living history timeline event in the state of Missouri. It usually draws 300 participants in all time periods and 10-15,000 spectators. There is a WWII Battle on Saturday and Sunday. This year will feature the role of animals in support of the US military.

Registration Times: Friday 1300-2100 and Saturday 0800-1000 in the 29th Panzergrenadier Camp

Pre-Registration: Contacting the event coordinator is required for reserving your display area. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Fee: There is no fee for the event, and the organizers provide a Saturday night meal to all participants

World War II Days includes elaborate and realistic battles complete with tanks, artillery, armored vehicles, and exciting pyrotechnic displays.

The largest World War II era re-enactment in the United States with over 1,000 uniformed reenactors from 40 states representing soldiers from the United States, Great Britain, France, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Japan, Italy and Germany along with 70 to 80 vintage tanks, half tracks and other 1940s era military vehicles!

Maps of the event site will be available when visitors arrive showcasing the battlefield and the various encampments and attractions. The event is rain or shine.

Visitors Experience:
Visitors at the special event engage in elaborate 1940s displays in historical buildings on the museum’s 148-acre campus acting as the back drop of a European village during World War II. Encampments of Allied and Axis troops in the Midway Village woods and realistic skirmishes integrated in the historic village.

Behind The Lines – Friday, September 21 . 5 pm – 8 pm
This year’s Friday evening visitor experience at World War II Days will include an up-close preview of the special event and is always a popular part of the weekend’s activities. Watch for exciting details about new features.

Event Site Transportation for Visitors with Special Needs
Golf cart shuttles transport visitors from the parking lots and within the event. Please, do not bring personal golf carts.

$14 adults; $12 Veterans and Active Duty Military Personnel.*
$8 child (ages 3-17); Infants (ages 0-2) are Free.
World War II Veterans are Free.
Midway Village Museum Members are Free.

Admissions tickets can be purchased at the event gates, online or by phone by calling 815-397-9112. Online ticket sales begin Monday, May 21, 2018.

*If you are a Veteran and Active Duty Military Personnel simply show proof of military service with your Military ID card, Veterans Affairs, card or Discharge papers to receive discounted tickets.

Vet Tank is available for individuals with limited mobility. Call the museum to make a reservation at 815-397-9112.

$2 parking fee per car for non-members.

Full emersion tactical event at a WWII army installation.
This will be a three day event. Everyone is encouraged to bring enough ammo and food for the weekend as well as shelter and something warm to sleep in.
You can dig fox holes (You'll have to refill them at the end of the event!)
Fires are ONLY to be in provided fire containers from Range Control. And Not in any of the Buildings!
There will be limited billets provided for the units for those that need it. Armor is unknown at this point.
Checkin will be on Friday from 1500 to 2300, and Saturday from 0600 to 0830. Currently the cost for this event will be $30.00 if you preregister, $40.00 if you do not preregister. You can prepay for the event on PayPal at thirdarmyhistoricalsociety@yahoo.com

IF You're wearing Rank on your Collar or Sleeve, Be prepared to do the job and take the responsability's of the Rank! There will be Safety Rules and Info at Registration regarding the Training Areas from Range Control. Normal HRS and LHRA Safety and Authenticity Rules will apply, plus No Hit calling or Complaining about it! It always happens for what ever reason so just go on with the battle.
