Hey guys,
I know these are hard to find, but I'm looking for an orig. style jerry can spout for the jerry can used on my Jeep. I'd like to be able to carry the fuel during events and tacticals but cannot as I do not have a spout for the can. If anyone has a "line" on any of these, please let me know. thanks! Private message or e-mail.

Cpt. Sparky,
Glad you got yours up and running...If I were to find a barrel for my gun, would your friend be willing to blank it out for me after I sign the hold-harmless agreement and all that  Wink ? I seriously just don't have the time or means available to do this myself. See if you can find out if he'd do one for someone else and what it might cost. Replay or Private Message me. Thanks  Grin

Anyone know of a GOOD upholstery company that can handle complete seat restoration for a 1942 Dodge FireTruck? The seat is just the rusty metal springs at this time...Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I do one if not all of those tips with each of my canteens! Thanks for simple, but often overlooked ideas on cleaning and maintaining your canteens and cups!
6  United States, 1900-2000 / Looking to Buy/Sell/Trade / *Wanted To Buy* 1911 Blank-Adapted Barrel on: March 01, 2009, 01:10:37 PM
Does anyone have an already blank-adapted barrel for a 1911? I do not have time/equipment to make my own and was wondering if anyone has one to sell or willing to make and sell. I would like one with a couple different set screw hole sizes so I can test it out with my gun. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all!

Ok, Not sure if this is right place to post this, but Admin, Please move it if you need to.
What I am looking for is a list of WWII Reenacting units in the Arizona (southern) area. There is a chance I'll be moving out there for at least a few years and would like to look up some potential units to join. Any and all inormation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for reply and def. let me know what you do and how it goes...I too would not want to modify it for the larger brass. Like you said make smaller or I know Atlantic Wall sells tompson ones and unmodified 1911 ones. so they're out there. I'll also ask Bill Sheets if I can look at his the next time I see him so I can get an idea. Thanks again and keep me posted!

Hey, Contemplating purchasing the Kahr Arms WWII look-alike 1911. I want it for reenacting and for live firing. I've thought about buying a seperate barrel and blank adapting 1 so I can change it out depending on the need as it would get really old pulling the action back every time I wanted to fire.  Does anyone know ANYTHING about doing this?  What a barrel might cost, cost involved in blank adapting a 1911 barrel and what exactly happens to do this? Any and all info would be greatly appreciated.

Along with this discussion...I looked at the link that was posted for the BFA's..I currently have the longer style.  Back in Jan. at the Gap, I saw the "hollywood" style that only adds like 1/4 inch to the barrel length. They were around $30 and I am kicking myself everyday now that I didn't pick that up. The people in my unit that did are VERY happy with them and what a deal. Does anyone know where online or a # for a vendor that sells these? I can't find them ANYWHERE now!  Thanks everyone!
